Crisis Stabilization

This is a short-term, intensive intervention provided by Empowerment Mental Health clinic focused on ensuring the client’s immediate safety and well-being during a mental health crisis. It involves rapidly assessing risk (e.g., self-harm, suicide) and implementing measures to de-escalate acute symptoms. The clinic’s goal is to stabilize the client to a functional baseline so that ongoing, less intensive treatment can be safely initiated.
